Saturday Stamping Savvy

To start getting ready for my first online class with you ladies you should all be thinking about a stamp set that can be used to create random stamping. I am attaching some samples from my photobucket album. The first is a sample where we created background paper using a CTMH set that has several stars and circles in it and using ink colors to match the patterned papers (from the Sarsparilla pack) we added. The second is the same stamp set changed up a bit with colors from the Whoops a Daisy pack. The third is the back 2 pages of one of our 6x6 accordion mini albums. We used one of my all time favorite CTMH sets called Playful Flourishes on this one. This was the first lesson in random stamping for a lot of my ladies. They started off pretty fearful ("you want me to do what?????) but quickly caught on and realized how fun and easy this technique is. Notice how the words in this are designed to wrap around the flourishes. And last is the front view of the album in case you wanted to see the whole thing :-)

And my tip for the day is remember acrylic stamps are flexible.... . you can form word and/or image collages on your block to stamp all at once. you can also alter the shape..... for example twisting a stitched image from a straight line into a curved shape on your block so you can stamp a stitched half circle to accent a photo
