God is so good!

Went to Kennewick last night in order to attend a cardiologist appointment with Bass first thing this am. A little background...... Bass had surgery including having a stint put in 2 years ago. there was quite a bit of blockage at the time and they told him he was lucky he had not actually had a heart attack. He has not taken very good care of his health since.......... not doing follow up care and not taking his medications. Thanks to a recent promise to me he is back on track in taking care of himself. He has restarted on his medications with his regular doctor and today's appointment was to asses what, if any, damage had been done over the last 2 years. This is where the God is so good comment comes in. His heart is in GREAT shape in spite of the fact that he did not follow through on treatment and medications for 2 years. The cardiolologost was in shock.

Well, Amanda found her dress and the girls tell me it was relatively painless. She picked a gorgeous brown silk dress....... ...... very grown up but not revealing. They did good and had tons of fun. I am pleased. I wanted the day to be a great memory for her and I think it was. :-)

Starbucks was great. A friend who is a manager at Macy's in the mall met me for coffee and we had fun catching up while the girls shopped.

Olive garden was also yummy as always. They had a new dish........ ..... chicken and lasagna rolls with a white sauce and spinach..... ....... it was yummy!
