HOW THE CARDS ARE USED. When the cards are received by Chaplain Banks, he puts them in a central location where the soldiers can go and select a card to send to a loved one, friend/relative. The soldier selects a card, opens it, reads the message to him that we have placed on the sticky note, removes the sticky note and writes his own message to the person for whom he has selected the card and sends it on its way. So not only do we get to use up our scraps when we make these cards but we get double use out of them which really makes our time we spend making these cards really worthwhile.
One of my favorite quotes..... Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away. Come on in and grab a comfy seat to share what I love......my family, my faith, and creating ways to preserve the precious memories of our lives.
