My latest development in my ongoing MRSA battle. On the plus side I am happy to know that this horrible pain in my face is not pockets of infection but I am also sad that the MRSA is continuing to wreak havoc with my health. Apparently this nerve damage has been caused by the MRSA. One of the most effective treatments is surgery to sever the nerve but this is not an option for me as any surgery puts me at greater risk. I have now been referred to a neurologist and the next step will be simply to try to control my pain.
I have also been advised yet again (by the 3rd doctor now) that I need to find a new line of work because my immune system is so compromised that daily contact with the illnesses kids often come to school with could eventually kill me, especially after having dealt with MRSA pneumonia once already). I want to convince myself that this is only the doctors being overprotective...... over reactive..... but am praying for God's guidance in what I should do.

Pray hard on what the doctors are saying and He will guide you on your path. Open your heart to hear what He has to say! I am so sorry that the doctors are not telling you what you want to hear, but it sounds like they are trying to take good care of you.
