As I am dealing with not being able to sleep because of the pain behind my eye and a severe headache that I have had for 3 days :-( I have been hanging out on facebook. I don't even remember who it was that first convinced me to sign up there but I am so thankful to whoever it was.
Today I hooked up with a very old and very treasured friend who I had lost contact with a few years ago. He was my best friend in NY and the hardest person for me to leave behind when Rex and I made the decision to move to Oregon. We kept in touch at first and he and his wife even visited but he moved and changed his email and we lost contact. I can't begin to describe how happy and excited I was to get an email today that he had sent a friend request on facebook. We spent a bit of time catching up before I had to log off to get the kids ready for school and it was like we had just spoken to eachother yesterday :-)

That's why I am loving FB. I am catching up with so many classmates that I had no idea how to find. Our 20th reunion is coming up and I'm so excited to see everyone again.
I got on myspace (don't like it) and Facebook (love it) because my 14 yo son wanted to use these sites. He has permission as long as I'm one of his friends just to make sure he's not getting into something he shouldn't.
Turns out that I really enjoy Facebook. It's such an easy way to keep track of friends and acquaintances.
