is not starting off so hot. I worked the first day but could barely walk. The doctor put me out the remainder of the first week and said it was sciatica. I behaved myself the entire time....... even skipped the parade Saturday and church Sunday but 15 minutes into the school day today I knew I had to get back to the doctor. Because of Round Up it was 2:15 today or not for another week so I had to take the afternoon off. Way to make a good impression on my new boss right? Not to mention I felt like a sub in my own classroom today.
Now for the new diagnosis. Are you ready for this? I apparently have a rather large tear in my hamstring. He apologised profusely for missing it last week but honestly I don't think it was his fault. My back was so locked up he didn't go any farther than examining and trying to manipulate that.
I have a pressure wrap on it and he says come back if it's not better in 2 weeks. The good news is he also said if I have it wrapped I am not doing any more damage by working on it so I am going to go to work tomorrow.
And trying to look on the bright side this is better than the initial diagnosis of sciatica because he said that would be a reoccurring problem once it happens to you and this should not be any further problem once it is healed.
One of my favorite quotes..... Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away. Come on in and grab a comfy seat to share what I love......my family, my faith, and creating ways to preserve the precious memories of our lives.
