I love big crop nights

I enjoy the smaller groups I host in my scrapbook studio on most Friday nights but really miss the bigger groups (and fun that goes along with them) since the Scrapbook Station closed. With this in mind (along with a lot of encouragement from some of my CTMH customers) I have been playing around with some different ideas of places I can host a larger group once a month. I have picked the second Friday of each month as my target date. I am hauling in a ton of products and tools for everyone to have fun with and also have some create and take projects (charging only the cost of materials) you can choose to do if you like. We had the first of these in February in the fellowship hall of First Christian church and it was a TON of fun with the lats of the die hards leaving after 3am! The next one will be held on the second Friday in March (the 14th) from 6pm until?? in the Rogers Room of the First Presbyterian church (kitty corner to the post office). There is no fee for this crop as the church has graciously donated the use of their space but I do ask that everyone attending make a small donation to the church for this use.........hope to see you there :-)

Peggy, I would love to come scrap with you but I think the drive would be a bit much. Can wait to see how it turns out.

Peggy, it's so hard to believe you just started blogging. You are doing an awesome job and I can learn a lot from you as I attempt to work on a blog for my new card business.

Blessings!

Hi Peggy...I linked here from 2Peas. I just wanted to offer up an idea for a larger group crop. My SU holds crops and workshops at a local car dealership. They have a large conference room that they allow her to use for free or a small fee depending on the day and time. The only stipulation is that the tables can't be moved out of the U shape and food (other than water bottles) isn't allowed in the room (Kitchen right next door though so not a problem). It might be worth looking into for your group.
