One of my favorite quotes..... Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away. Come on in and grab a comfy seat to share what I love......my family, my faith, and creating ways to preserve the precious memories of our lives.

our day at the mall
Well, Amanda found her dress and the girls tell me it was relatively painless. She picked a gorgeous brown silk dress....... ...... very grown up but not revealing. They did good and had tons of fun. I am pleased. I wanted the day to be a great memory for her and I think it was. :-)
Starbucks was great. A friend who is a manager at Macy's in the mall met me for coffee and we had fun catching up while the girls shopped.
Olive garden was also yummy as always. They had a new dish........ ..... chicken and lasagna rolls with a white sauce and spinach..... ....... it was yummy!

Shopping at the mall today
for Amanda's dress for 8th grade graduation. I can hardly believe it and it takes my breath away a little bit to say it. My "glass half full girl" will be a freshman in high school next year! It seems like just yesterday she was learning to walk.
Amanda is not so thrilled about the whole dress idea. So I came up with a game plan to try to make this special day more fun for her. The twins are with my mom and Amanda invited her 2 best friends to come shopping with us. Estany will also be in the graduation ceremony with Amanda and McKayla graduates from 8th grade in Helix this year. We will have a girls day out and end with dinner at Olive Garden before coming back home.
Wish us luck :-)

Happy mother's Day
My 14yo, Amanda, sent me this funny mom video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QitzqXZq6w
You should watch it.but don't be drinking anything. I laughed until I thought I would pee my pants
I also woke up to the sweetest letter from her sitting on my keyboard waiting for me. It tells me what a great mom she thinks I am and how lucky they are to have me. Made me cry
Have a great day everyone. We have Sunday school and church and then the rest of my day will be a surprise planned by my children. I think I heard some whispering about a picnic in the park

the day after National Scrapbook Day
How was everyone's day? Mine was awesome! I had 10 ladies sign up for my crop/workshop and 9 came. We started at 3 and the last of them left about midnight. They loved their goodie bags and had a blast doing the make and takes and challenges. And I always love how everyone starts with the same supplies and the projects all look different when done. One of the challenges involves voting and a prize for the winner so be watching my blog in about a week to see entries and vote :-)
