One of my favorite quotes..... Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away. Come on in and grab a comfy seat to share what I love......my family, my faith, and creating ways to preserve the precious memories of our lives.

I have been asked to be a contributing blogger for the Scrapping 4 Inclusion blog http://scrapping4inclusion.blogspot.com/
Many of you may remember my talking about trying to organize a fundraiser crop in Pendleton. I was thrilled when I discovered this organization that combines scrapbooking with creating awareness of children with special needs and raising funds for the Buble/Aiken foundation (started by American Idol star Clay Aiken and Dianne Bubel... the mom of the autistic student Clay worked with). The goal of the Bubel/Aiken Foundation is to provide funds for the extra support that children with disabilities need to be able to be included in activities that most children take for granted like attending a summer camp.
I have been asked, along with several others) to contribute to the blog weekly. So there should be a brand new post every day. These post can range from layouts and cards to technique or project tutorials. Be sure to check it out! Also check out how you can become an event organizer. Laurie has done all the "work" of creating donation and organization forms and has secured many awesome companies ready and willing to donate products for an all day fundraising crop

Almost Friday! and Stampganza!
And tomorrow is Friday. I am totally ready for the Girls Night Out crop on the 31st. All the make and takes are prepped and ready to go and I still have 2 open spots if anyone else is interested. I think I will spend most of my long weekend in my scrap studio playing with fun new papers and stamps from CTMH to make some more demos and get those creative juices flowing. I love when I have time to just play with no specific project in mind or deadline to meet.
I am also going over my stamp wish list again because they just announced that Stampganza is back as the June special campaign. Buy 2 stamps sets and get a third free! I shared the news and already my June calendar is filling up quickly. It's a great month to hostess as well as to shop :-)

Adding my boys

I knew the moment I saw this Simple Pleasures paper pack from CTMH that I wanted to reprint these photos in sepia tones to use with it. The layout designed is based on a sketch from page Maps and I kept things very simple to focus on the photos. I enlarged my favorite to 8x12 to be the focal photo and printed the accent photos in wallet size.
And this layout uses the Caprice paper pack. I loved the colors and wanted to show that flowered prints can also be used for masculine pages. This layout is based on the Dynamic Duos sketch in the Cherish book and also features lots of stamping using Legendary Moments and Lovely Buckles. Under the hinged 5x7's is a letter to each son detailing what I loved most about him at age 8.

Sneak Peek at make and takes

A peek at the rest of the projects we will be making at my National Scrapbook Day Crop tomorrow. The 4th is the one at the top of my sidebar which is done with the new Whoops A Daisy papers and random stamping using "Star Struck". The 9x9 layout in the jumbo clothespin uses the new Sarsparilla papers and the "Thing of Beauty" stamp set. The layout uses papers from the Paper Garden Level 1 and Level 2 packs. The card is using another new stamp set (I think a new one n my top ten list) called "Spot On Backgrounds". Every patterned element on this card is created with the stamps from this set. I just LOVE it!
